Forum with ANL Overview and Discussion of Opportunities: Presentations of ANL User Facilities to Include: Technologies/Applications Possible; How to Prepare Proposals/Proposal Process for Use of Facilities; Internships and Educational Opportunities.
ANL Day will open with welcome by Dr. Shaw, MSU Vice President for Research and Economic Development. Dr. Peterson, ANL Director of Government Affairs will follow with an overview of ANL. Brief presentations and a panel discussion will include directors from ANL facilities (Advanced Photon Source, Center for Nanoscale Materials, Electron Microscopy Center, Leadership Computing Facility, Transportation Research and Analysis Computing Center). This session is intended for faculty, research associates, post-docs, research support staff, outreach staff, and students. Anyone that is interested in available technologies, research, research training, education and/or outreach partnership with ANL is welcome and encouraged to attend.

These sessions are designed for researchers who are interested in use of and/or collaborative opportunities with ANL imaging/analysis facilities. Researchers will be given the opportunity to present proposal development and collaboration ideas via whitepaper or very brief ppt. to relevant ANL facility directors. Details to follow.
