    Partner Database Questions

Thank you for completing the General Linking questions. The following sections will now deal on how to customize Partner Databases for your EDS profile. There are two main categories of Partner Databases: English Resources and Multilingual Resources.

An "English Resource" is a Partner Database where the majority, if not all, records in a given database are in the English language.

A "Multilingual Resource" is a Partner Databases where the majority, if not all, records are in a language other than the English language. There is a portion of English content usually stored in these types of databases.

Both of these categories include three subcategories: Open Access, Subscription-Based, and Partner Catalogs & Indexes. Each of these subcategories will be defined later on in this form.

We will start with the English Resource databases. Please click 'Next Page' to continue.

    New Partner Database Content

EBSCOadmin allows administrators to prevent new content, subscriptions, or product offering additions from automatically being added to profiles.

This can be useful if you prefer to customize the content that gets added to profiles. For example, if you have subject-specific EBSCO Discovery Service profiles, you can set your EDS profiles to disable new product additions, allowing you to assign new products to the appropriate profiles.
