Neighborhood Festivals:
help facilitate art activities and workshops at neighborhood festivals (e.g. silk screening, face-painting, and more!).
Field Day:
Support our festival of neighborhoods in Harlem, Hunts Point and Bedford-Stuyvesant. Will take place this year on September 18th, 24th & 25th
Public Art Potluck:
Support our Public Art Potluck, The LP's signature annual event celebrating our Create Change artists. We'll thank you with free food, drink, and a great time! This will take place this year on October 18th
Art Workshop Assistance:
Support LP teaching artists run an outdoor workshop at our Kelly Street apt Arts Space, a New York City Laundromat or a public space.
Create Change Artist Assistant:
Become an artist's assistant by helping Create Change artists with their public arts projects!
Work Party Goer:
Join a creative assembly line to create cool new LP merchandise and learn fun art-making skills!
SOAPBOX benefit:
Responsibilities include event set-up, management, clean up, break down, and keeping our fabulous guests as happy as clams. You'll get to look your best, schmooze with some of New York's finest artists, and be an invaluable asset to the LP!
We'll try our best to assign you to an opportunity of your choice. However, we cannot guarantee your placement.
