Eligibility

·         An AACE BadgeCert is provided as a complimentary benefit to all active AACE International certificants and is only provided when requested by the certificant.

·         AACE International considers any attempt to procure an AACE BadgeCert by an unqualified individual as a violation of AACE International’s Canons of Ethics and reserves the right to initiate ethic charges against anyone who misrepresents authentic professional credentials. 

Limitation of Liability:

·         AACE International will not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, consequential or exemplary damages of any kind, including loss of revenues, loss of profits or data, goodwill, loss of use damages, and costs of procurement of substitute goods or services, whether foreseeable of not, as a result of opting-in for, and using, BadgeCert.

Warranty:

·         It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the certificant to determine the suitability of BadgeCert services as intended and purposed by AACE International.  The certificant acknowledges and agrees to BadgeCert services on an “as-is” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

·         AACE makes no representation or warranty that BadgeCert will meet the certificant’s needs and that the services will be uninterrupted, timely and secure or error free.

Notices:

·         AACE International reserves the right to delay, suspend, or terminate BadgeCert services for future certificants without advance notice.

·         AACE International will provide advance notice to all BadgeCert users if it is decided at any time to delay, suspend or terminate BadgeCert services for any reason, to provide ample time for certificants to remove all references to their AACE BadgeCert digital portfolio from their email signatures, websites, digital resumes, social media, etc.

·        The certificant must provide written notice to AACE Headquarters Certification Department if they do not want or do not continue to use their AACE BadgeCert portfolio; otherwise the AACE BadgeCert portfolio will remain in effect and housed on the BadgeCert server and accessible to individuals with the URL provided by the certificant previously.
