The Barbara and
Michael Osband Scholarship
Barbara and Michael Osband scholarship was created in 2015 to encourage,
inspire, and support young women to advance in STEM pursuits. Ms. Barbara
Osband is the visionary Chairwoman and CEO of Cambridge Biomedical, whose
mission is to provide the healthcare industry with valid analytical methods and
results on which to base efficient product development and patient care
decisions. She is a member of the distinguished CEO roundtable. Her late
husband, Dr. Michael Osband, was a pediatric oncologist. A researcher and
beloved physician, he founded the company and held the post of Chief of
Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Boston Medical Center.
