SIR 2017 Session Submission Challenge

Society of Interventional Radiology

This submission challenge is open to physicians who are interested in coordinating a SIR 2017 Self-Assessment Module (SAM) session.

Do you have what it takes to run a SAM session at the 2017 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting in Washington, DC? Are you interested in developing an interactive session approved for SAM credit to apply towards Maintenance of Certification (MOC)? Do you have a great idea that has not been done before? The Annual Meeting Committee seeks to foster inclusion, diversity and competition. We want your input! Submit your entry and the best fully planned courses will be included in the 2017 program. Visit www.sirmeeting.org for more information.

This should NOT be a promissory note, rather we want fully-formed courses. Courses that have been presented in the past or at other meetings or substantially overlap with recent courses will NOT be considered—we want new ideas!

Each entry will be evaluated on:

  • Originality
  • Content
  • Faculty diversity
  • Relevance and appeal to Interventional Radiologists
  • Timeliness

Please note that in-training members of SIR can be included in proposed courses but cannot be primary coordinators.

Selected physicians for the SIR SAM Session Challenge are invited to attend the 2017 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting

Saturday, March 4, 2017 through Thursday, March 9, 2017.
