Adults and families with children through sixth grade will be housed in the air conditioned comfort of the Solarhouse or the Guesthouse, in which each room has a private bath.
Alternately, for a lower cost, the Motel offers a few rooms with a private bath and air conditioning; these rooms open directly to the outside. Tent and RV sites are available with easy access to the bath house. These sites are limited, so please register early to save your spot.
College aged young adults will be housed three-to-four per room in the Motel. Young people entering grades 7-12 will share Lodge rooms with their counselors. The Lodge does not have air conditioning. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Kitchenettes are available in all residences. If you have special dietary needs, please contact the Wards before June 25. Linens are provided for the Guesthouse, Solarhouse, and Motel. Those in the Lodge or tent sites should bring their own towels and linens or sleeping bags.
If you are looking for an adult roommate to keep your costs down, please notify us.
Our goal is to equip and encourage members and friends within the Presbytery of the Alleghenies. We love seeing the people of God from all walks of life gathering together to fellowship, learn and worship—a small taste of heaven! Camp starts Monday mid-afternoon and goes through lunch on Friday. We encourage you to set aside this week to study God’s Word and to make new friends from other congregations in the presbytery.
The theme this year is "Pray Without Ceasing." This year, highschool and college groups will listen to the talks with the adults, then meet in discussion groups with their peers. The memory verse is 1 Thessalonians 5:13-18 (ESV) and the camp Psalm is 5A.
College students will have several special events specifically for them including a day-trip to an undisclosed location.
Evening programs include the return of the all-camp square dance, complete with live music (Tuesday), consecration worship service (Wednesday), and a game show night (Thursday). Campfire songs on Sunset Hill will conclude several evenings during the week. Be sure to enjoy on-site amenities including an outdoor swimming pool; gymnasium; miniature golf course; outdoor playground; volleyball and tennis courts; and a multi-purpose baseball field.
Jared Olivetti, was born in Dayton, Ohio and raised mostly in Indianapolis. He was baptized as an infant at Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian in Dayton and grew in faith from an early age. His parents and the church faithfully taught him how to walk with Christ throughout his childhood. While training at Purdue University to be a special education teacher, Jared became involved in the Navigators and through them grew in his passion to see men and women raised up as laborers for Christ’s kingdom.
While teaching in junior high, Jared began praying about God’s call to become a pastor. After seeking counsel, he began an internship with Pastor Dave Long of the Lafayette RPC and then entered the RP seminary in Pittsburgh. Upon graduation in 2004, he became the associate pastor of the Lafayette RPC. Two years later, he was installed as the church planting pastor of Immanuel Reformed Presbyterian Church in West Lafayette, Indiana
Jared is married to Lisa and together are happy parents of six children.
