This National Endowment for the Humanities workshop will include an introduction and a general overview of Endowment programs and special initiatives. The second portion of the workshop will be devoted to specific criteria/strategies for writing competitive applications and better understanding the review process to include a mock peer review panel. A question and answer period should occur near the end of each session.

One-on-one meetings with the NEH program officer will be available in 20 minutes intervals. There will be sessions on the afternoon of March 19 as well as the morning of March 20. Anyone wishing to participate in a one-on-one session must contact Lynn Taylor in the ORED office by email ( Appointments will be made on a first come-first serve basis. 

Faculty wishing to meet with the program officer will be asked to submit a project abstract in advance of the meetings to Ms. Taylor who will gather all abstracts and send to the NEH PO. This allows the NEH PO to gather sample proposals, talk to colleagues, etc. and come to the meeting well informed.
