The CD/DVD artwork and Music DVD of the Year are the only 2 categories where you must mail a physical hardcopy of your project to us for judging. We need to receive 10 copies of each project submitted for these categories in order to send them out to the judges for consideration. These submissions must be postmarked by June 30. Please complete this form, submit payment, and mail the project to GMA Canada 92 MacEwan Meadow Way, NW Calgary Alberta. T3K 3H8.

Please Note: All entries in the Album Categories, Song Categories and Specialty Categories are judged exclusively on their own merit. However, in the General Categories and only here are “impact” issues taken into consideration such as sales, touring and radio airplay. The General Categories are open to artists of all styles and platforms within Christian music. Winners of the General Categories are determined in part by GMA Canada member voting.

Submission Checklist

GMA Canada re­serves the right to move material to the appropriate category should circumstances warrant this.

All entries must also be accompanied by one biography and one picture in JPEG or TIFF format. Photos must be at least 900 pixels in size in both directions.

For the DVD and Artwork categories, make sure you complete the forms and mail in the projects for judging.

Submission forms must be filled out accurately and thoroughly including the detailed information re­quired for each category.

Deadlines/Eligibility Period

All entries must be completed online by June 30, 2011. To be eligible for nomination in 2011, albums must have been released be­tween May 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. Songs must also have impacted the marketplace during this period.

Submission Fees

Payment must accompany every submission. Fees can be paid by enclosing a cheque or money order. Credit card payments can also be made online immediately after successfully submitting your submissions form.

GMA Canada Members

membership in GMA Canada is a pre-requisite for submitting for  the awards. If you are not a member, please sign up online through our website.
