Event Support - Many of the events that we host are outdoors or require tents, tables, signs, and other various items. We need volunteers who can setup/take down tents, tables, and signs, register people at events, verbally give information, hand out brochures, distribute food & drink, etc.Fundraising - This is the process of soliciting and gathering voluntary contributions from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or government agencies. We do not go door to door. Our usual process for gathering funds includes on-line fundraising, text to donate, grant writing and face-to-face interactions at special events with galas and auction items.Join a Chapter - USA Cares’ chapters bring volunteers together to support veterans and military families around the nation. Volunteer chapters are located in cities nationwide. Be a part of a chapter near you or start a new chapter in your city!Office Administration - This is typically typing, filing, sending letters, making phone calls, sending e-mails, etc.Pro Bono Services - These services may be available below market cost, or even for free, from technical assistance providers, skilled volunteers, for-profit consulting firms or other nonprofit organizations. Examples of these services include accounting, medical, legal, marketing, public relations, technology, consulting, etc.
