Description: CCF's School Supplies Assistance provides school supplies(including materials for specialized classes as well as laptops, tablets, notebooks, etc.) for Fellows and Future Fellows pursuing a progressive degree or Community Sisters enrolled in a college preparatory program. These funds cannot be applied to any other expenses (tuition, rent, etc.) and can only be used to support the Future Fellow/Fellow directly. CCF will purchase the supplies directly or provide a reimbursement(proof of purchase is required and must contain the Future Fellow/Fellow's name).
Examples: Here are some examples of what CCF considers School Supplies for the purpose of this application:
Note-taking and filing utensils (notebooks, binders, pencils, pens, highlighters, etc.)
School bag, backpack, briefcase
Uniforms (scrubs, lab coats, shoes, etc.)
Software
Electronics (Laptop, tablet, e-reader, etc)
If you're not sure about your school supplies, you can still submit your request for consideration and discuss with your Academic Counselor.
Criteria: Students must be currently matriculated in a progressive degree seeking program or college preparatory program(Certification Meeting requirements do not apply).
To be considered students should:
- Complete the "School Supplies Assistance" request below.
- Attend a Certification Meeting with your Academic Counselor, provide required paperwork and follow through with any referrals.
- Be in good standing with CCF (if previously enrolled with CCF)by meeting participation requirements during the previous semester, including completion of Certification Meeting and participation in at least two CCF activities including but not limited to:
- Community Meeting
- Graduation
- Workshops
- Volunteer for CCF Events (note: opportunities to volunteer are limited and not guaranteed)
- Graduating Fellows must attend CCF Graduation.
Students who are not in good standing (i.e. did not complete Certification Meeting or did not attend two CCF activities from previous semester) must complete requirements before becoming eligible to apply for the current semester.
