Requirements of the Program 

1. An active real estate license in good standing

2. A minimum of 5 buyer or seller transactions in a rolling 12-month window in the region you want to servive. Rental transactions do not count.

3. Reviews from your recent clients to showcase your excellent service! 

Referral Fee

When you close with a Redfin referral customer, our referral fee is calculated from the Gross Commission (GC) received by your brokerage. This referral fee is subject to change, as outlined in our referral agreement:

If you close your transactions under your own MLS, you may continue as a solo applicant. However, please keep in mind that any teammates or co-listers will not be permitted to work with Redfin referral customers, and sub-referring is contractually prohibited.

More Information

To qualify and remain eligible for Redfin’s Partner Program, agents must maintain a consistent closing volume of 5 transactions in any given 12 month rolling period. Redfin will verify this information.

Please be advised that if you choose not to receive text messages from the Redfin Partner Program, we will be unable to move forward with your application as most of our Partner communication is via text. If you opt out of receiving texts in the future, you will be removed from the Redfin Partner Program.

When representing a Redfin Referral Customer, our Partners agree not to represent any other party in the Redfin Customer’s real estate transaction.

Our referrals will fluctuate in price throughout the year depending on customer demand, market conditions, and our brokerage agents’ capacity.

Our Partners are committed to providing the best customer experience, and that means waiving administrative, transaction, MLS, or similar fees for Redfin Referral Customers

We consider every referral an opportunity and aim to eliminate barriers for Redfin customers excited about touring a new listing. Partner Agents are not permitted to initiate the conversation in regards to financing until after their first meeting with a Redfin customer.
