of awards for which you are able to nominate someone:
The Rhode Island Community Service Award
The Rhode Island Community
Service Award recognizes an outstanding individual in our state whose
extraordinary vision, commitment, and leadership have made a significant impact
upon our community. Please note that the award recipient DOES NOT have to be
an alumnus of Leadership Rhode Island.
The Emerging Leader Award
An expansion of the earlier Youth
Leadership Awards given since 2002, this award recognizes an outstanding young
person whose vision, dedication, and leadership qualities have inspired others
to take action to create community change. The nominee must be 21 years of age
or under, or 23 or under and enrolled full-time as an undergraduate, at the
time the award is presented. The nominee's leadership must serve a community or
communities in Rhode Island.
The Leadership Rhode Island Volunteer Award
This award recognizes an
outstanding volunteer contribution to Leadership Rhode Island. Service may take
many forms, such as committee work, fund raising, or program assistance.
awards will be approved by the Leadership Rhode Island's Board of Governors.
