Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program in the Water-Energy-Food Nexus

Four (4) undergraduate students from colleges that do not have established research programs and who have completed at least their freshman year in college but have not yet graduated will be accepted to participate in research activities funded by the National Science Foundation.

Student participants will receive a $3,000 stipend and $1,000 travel and meal allowance. 

REU researchers will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative atmosphere with a broad range of topics such as laser-based molecular spectroscopy, computational chemistry as well as the synthesis and characterization of new nanomaterials.
