Thank you for taking our quiz. It looks like Dot Dot Dot could be the right housing option for you.

The next step is to fill out this application form so that we can get more information about your suitability. The form asks some key details about you, as well as your financial suitability and what your volunteering interests are.

Before you can move in to a property, we will need to carry out some vetting checks, contact your referees and receive your deposit.

We collect, process and store the information you provide on this form in order to assess your suitability as a guardian and contact you about living with Dot Dot Dot. We analyse information to improve our services and ensure that it is available to people from a range of backgrounds. About you

This section asks the essential questions, so that we can contact you about viewings.

We will not automatically exclude you if you do, we will need to talk to you a little more about the situation and make a decision based on the circumstances.

Your Housing Situation

We use the information in this section to make sure that we contact you about the properties that will be most suitable for you.

The more flexible you are about where you are willing to live and your timescale for moving, the more likely we are able to match you with a property.

A key feature of being a property guardian is that you may have to leave a property at four weeks' notice. We may be able to rehouse you in another Dot Dot Dot property, but we cannot guarantee this so we need to check what options you have.

You Financial Situation

As a Dot Dot Dot guardian, you will need to pay a £750 deposit and a fee of between £55 and £95 a week (depending on the location and property), plus utilities and council tax in most cases.

Please enter the details of your employment history
If you are a student, please explain this in one of the boxes below

Your Volunteering Interests

All Dot Dot Dot guardians commit to spending at least 16 hours a month volunteering for a charitable purpose of their choice, while they are housed with us.

Not every guardian that we house has volunteered before. We look for people who are passionate and enthusiatic about getting involved with community projects and volunteering and who are ready to get started making an impact.

Your References

We take details of references at this stage to speed up the sign up process. We usually take up references after you have been to a viewing and expressed interest in one of our properties as part of our vetting process.

We cannot take your application further if you do not provide us with accurate details of two references.
Please provide details of two references
This should be one professional and one volunteering. If you do not have any volunteering experience you can provide two professional.

We cannot accept a reference from a friend or family member who doesn't work with you in a professional capacity.

Diversity

This section will ask you questions about who you are. The responses will be kept separate from your application and won't influence progression through our application process.

We won't be looking at individual responses, but we are interested in summary information that gives us a better idea of who our applicants and guardians are.

Equality and diversity is really important to us at Dot Dot Dot. The reason we are asking these questions is so that we can make sure we are a housing option to people from a diverse range of backgrounds.

If you find any of the questions too personal these is an option of "Prefer not to say".
