SIR Grassroots Leadership Program

The Society's grassroots leadership program, which debuted in 2014, offers interested members from across the country the opportunity to engage with their elected Senators and Representatives and their key Congressional staff about the policy issues that impact interventional radiologists

Through the grassroots leadership program members will learn about advocacy and the key policy issues that shape IR.  During the two day program, May 21-22, 2019 members will take that newly learned expertise and meet face to face with legislators to convey the value of IR, discuss advances in the specialty, and share other pertinent talking points that are vital to the specialty

Members will leave the program as grassroots regional leaders and be in position to engage their colleagues to help further the voice of interventional radiology before Congress.

Up to 10 participants will be selected.  Airfare and hotel accommodations will be covered by SIR.

To participate in the 2019 Grassroots Leadership Program, please complete the application below.  Applications must be submitted by COB April 15th 2019 and will be reviewed by the Government Affairs Committee.
