Activity Information

Please fill out our separate MOC Application upon completing this CME Application.
Activity Format

We encourage you to make use of innovative and modern educational formats and strategies as you plan your educational program. Educational research has shown that purely didactic educational sessions are less effective than active learning strategies.

Active learning strategies might include:

  1. Use of audience response systems to promote learner engagement
  2. Workshop/hands on sessions rather than pure didactics
  3. Demonstrations of new techniques
  4. Case based learning
  5. Small group discussions
  6. Pre-and post-test assessments of content knowledge
  7. Multimedia (video) instruction imbedded in didactics to illustrate key points.
