Safeguarding
Have you been subject to any safeguarding-related investigations in previous roles which have ended in you being given a warning which has not yet expired, or dismissed, or resigning pending investigation?

For clarity you do not need to tell us about expired warnings or investigations in which you were found not to have breached any policies.
Cautions & Criminal Convictions Declaration
The Brilliant Club provides Enhanced Disclosure Certificate checks for all its PhD tutors. These show all prior convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings that are not "protected" as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).



Living and Working Abroad


In line with Department of Education requirements and safer recruitment practices, we require 3 references for any tutors who have been overseas. We will only contact these referees should you meet these criteria.

Third References are also contacted if either of your Primary referees do not respond.
