Orange County 5/26/17 Expedition Form


Join us for a STEM Expedition to Tanaka Farms. Girls will experience a real working farm with over 30 acres of crops. The tour includes a guided wagon ride around the farm where students will sample and learn about various types of fruits and vegetables.  The children will see real working farm equipment and have the opportunity to pick fresh strawberries right off the vine and take them home!


After lunch, the students will venture out into the wilderness at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.  At the nature center, the girls will be able to walk through the various habitats and get a hands on experience of interpretive exhibits.  


Drop Off / Pick Up Time: 8:30-9:00 AM / 4:30-5:00 PM 


Drop Off/ Pick Up Location: UC Irvine - Drop-off/Pick-up map will be sent prior to Expedition.


Please pack a water bottle, lunch, and 2 snacks.

 

Please wear sunscreen and Project Scientist shirt (new girls will be given a shirt that morning).
