Scotty's Transport Grant

The Scotty's Transport grant is available to Scotty Members aged 16 and over.

The grant is available to Scotty’s members bereaved of parent who served in the British Armed Forces

The grant is £400 towards the cost of driving lessons, young persons bus pass, young persons railcard or the purchase of a bicycle.

When applying for the grant we require an invoice or itemized bill for purchase of the bicycle, Bus pass, railcard or driving lessons along with evidence of bank account details in the member's or Parent/Carer's name, whomever has purchased the item.

The grant can be used once and in one go, it cannot be used for several purchases or purchases of several modes of transport.

Selecting the Driving school/instructor, Rail or bus provider or bicycle retailer is the responsibility of the family.

Members who have previously applied for the Scotty's Driving grant can apply for the Transport grant.

· Once the grant has been paid, we require proof of purchase. This information is required for auditing purposes.

Only one application can be made per Scotty Member
Members can only apply once and in one go.

Once the grant has been paid, we require proof of purchase. This information is required for auditing purposes.
Applications without appropriate evidence attached will be rejected.
