Princeton AlumniCorps: Project 55 Fellowships

Princeton AlumniCorps would like to welcome you to the Project 55 Fellowships program. Since 1989, recent Princeton graduates have spent a year working in the public services with one of our partner organizations. 

We work closely with our partners to develop strong and lasting relationships. We ask our partner organizations to do the following. 
 
1. Pay the Project 55 Fellow the minimum stipend listed below and provide the fellow's monthly  health insurance premium at no cost to the Fellow.
 
2. Provide meaningful supervision, guidance, and feedback to the Fellow. 
 
3. Provide opportunities for the Project 55 Fellow to work on challenging, meaningful projects within your organization.
 
4. Allow the Project 55 Fellow to take the time to attend both local and national Project 55 Seminars.
 
5. Support the Project 55 Fellow's professional growth through internal mentoring, inclusion in staff meetings where relevant, and the opportunity to push themselves via the Project 55 Fellowship.

If you are a returning organization from any year between 2014-17, please email Caryn, at ctomljanovich@alumnicorps.org, for a PDF of your prior position description.

The overall Project 55 application process consists of the following required steps:
 
1. Complete online application. 
 
2. One-to-one phone call with AlumniCorps staff  to clarify or refine position as needed. 
 
3. Fellowship applicants respond to organization-specific questions.
 
4. Fellowship applicants referred to partner organizations for interviews. We ask, that as a minimum, you provide each referred applicant with a brief phone interview. After that, you are welcome to use whatever internal interview process and standards you use for vetting job applicants. 
 
5. Evaluate interviews of Fellowship applicants and extend offers. Though we strive to refer excellent applicants to each position, partner organizations are under no obligation to extend an offer if you do not find the right match.
