Nonprofit Space Investment Fund Application

Round 2 Financial Assistance, June 2017
The  Nonprofit Space Investment Fund (NSIF), a program of the Nonprofit Sustainability Initiative (NSI), has been seeded with $4.25 million over two years to provide critical financial support to nonprofits for the acquisition of new, permanent space. $2.2 million was awarded in Round 1 of the NSIF program and $1.8 million will be available in Round 2.
  • Before completing this application, please read the "Program Guidelines" document at www.ncclf.org/sfsustainability for program eligibility requirements.
  • NSIF grants can finance acquisition costs or an upfront payment for a long-term lease (55 year minimum).
  • All applicants are required to complete a consultation call prior to submitting an application.  The consultation calls are available between July 24th - August 4th, 2017. The last day to schedule a consultation call is July 27th.  Information on how to register for a consultation call is available on the application website.
  • Applications  must be received by 5:00 pm, September 8, 2017 to be considered for a Round 2 NSIF awards.  Applications submitted after 5:00 pm will not be accepted.  Awards will be announced November 1, 2017.
  • NCCLF encourages applicants to submit their applications before the September 8th deadline so that any technical problems that arise can be resolved before the deadline.

Demonstrate financial accountability by submitting the organization’s IRS form 990 or audit for the last three fiscal years (all grantees will be required to provide annual audits as an ongoing grant requirement), current year budget, and year-to-date income statement and balance sheet.
