If you have a complaint or grievance you would like submitted to the college, please click submit the online form.  Only continue with this form, if it relates to a Tuition and Fee Appeal.



Onondaga Community College, is required to adhere to New York State Community College Regulations Section 602.11 when it comes to tuition refunds.


In regards to the tuition and fee appeals, they are also addressed under Section 602.11 and are very specific applying to the following situations:

  • Death of student or immediate legal family member (parent, sibling, offspring, spouse)
  • Verifiable life changing situations, e.g. house burning down
  • Called to active military duty
  • Medical Incapacitation

If your situation does not meet one of the four criteria listed above, you do not have an appealable case and will not be considered at this time.

Fall Semesters/Fall late start sessions – Received by February 15th of the following year

Winter session – Received by March 15th of the same year 

Spring Semesters/Spring late start sessions – Received by July 15th of the same year 

Summer sessions – Received by September 15th of the same year


Deadlines for Housing Appeals: Fall Semesters – Received by February 15th of the following year Spring Semesters – Received by July 15th of the same year
