The Forum’s vision is to build a vibrant and engaged MBA community that provides lifetime value to all E/MBA students and alumni by:
- Providing and promoting networking opportunities
- Offering continuing education to MBA graduates
- Supporting current MBA students through mentoring, career coaching and tutoring
Leadership Team
The Sonoma MBA Alumni Forum Leadership Team governs the overall execution of the Forum’s mission and vision. They set the long-term priorities, and plan and execute on all initiatives. The Leadership team is also responsible for driving awareness and engagement among the MBA community, as well as recruitment for the Forum.
Leadership Team responsibilities include attendance at no less than 12 meetings per year (meetings are in-person, as well as teleconference) and active participation in meetings, planning, execution and email correspondence. In some years and at certain times, Leadership Team members may be required to attend additional meetings. Our attendance policy allows for removal from the Leadership Team if a minimum of three meetings are missed without prior notice.
Ambassador Positions
The Sonoma MBA Alumni Forum Ambassadors support Forum initiatives through outreach to MBA students and alumni and attendance at Forum events. Ambassadors serve as the primary connection point between past and current MBA students. They are expected to share feedback and help plan and execute on Forum initiatives as needed. Initiatives can include speaker and networking events, mentoring and tutoring and communication and engagement with the MBA community.
