Disaster Response Volunteer Intake

Catholic Charities of Acadiana's Disaster Response Department is one of 11 programs that serve an 8-parish region encompassing the Diocese of Lafayette, LA. Recognizing that disaster affects those experiencing poverty in a way that is often disproportionate to the individual or family's ability to recover, Disaster Response is a key way in which CCA "cares for the sacred gift of all human life, especially the most vulnerable."

**Please Note: if a volunteer is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult.  Disaster Response Volunteers must be self-sufficient.  Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and any  necessary personal supplies, water, food, fuel, etc.
