Join us this November for our Expedition to Johnson & Wales Culinary Laboratories and Cardinal Solutions. For the first half of the day, we will spend time exploring the culinary labs at JWU with our host, Chef and Professor, Daina Soto-Sellers. Our time spent at JWU will include demonstrations, a background into the science behind our food, and visiting with women in the field of Culinary Arts and Food Science. In the afternoon we will spend our time at Cardinal Solutions, an IT consulting group that works with companies to streamline their work through technology based solutions. Our girls will spend their afternoon speaking with women at this firm and discovering what a job at an IT consulting group looks like. From Food Science to IT development - this expedition will cover the wide range of STEM fields.
