Who is Breakthrough Miami looking for?

Breakthrough Miami is looking for academically motivated middle school students. Students should demonstrate academic motivation and scholarly capability indicated by a minimum B average GPA and at or above grade level performance on standardized test scores.

 

Please note the eligibility requirements for Breakthrough Miami Scholars:

·         Minimum GPA requirement- B average

·         FCATs/ Standardized Test Scores- at or above performance proficiency in Math and Reading

·         Need Identifiers

• Free or Reduced Lunch status
• Single Parent Household
• First in the family to attend college
• English is second language acquired
• Student attends an under-resourced school
