Please complete the application form clearly and concisely, remembering that the review panel will not be experts in the field of your technology. Please ensure you follow the word count guide.

Once your application is submitted, the Techcelerate application selection panel will consider all applications and identify the projects that best meet the Techcelerate programme requirements. All applications will be reviewed and shortlisted. Those Postdocs shortlisted will be required to attend a short interview with the panel before final selection is made.

Interviews with Postdoc applicants will be held on Tuesday 21st or Thursday 23rd November 2017 at the Enterprise Lab or via Skype. Interviews will last approx 20 minutes. Postdocs will be required to present their concept/idea/business in a 5 minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of questions from the panel.

All successful applicants will be notified by 5pm on 1st December 2017

SECTION A: TECHNOLOGY

Describe the research/technology that you think has the potential to be commercialised. Explain exactly what makes the research/technology unique. This should be a non-technical description and will be used as a summary of your project within the programme for a range of audiences (250 word limit)

The questions below are aimed to serve as a starting point for the programme. Applicants may not know exactly how the technology will be used in a business. We would simply like to understand your initial thoughts about the technology's market potential.
