You must provide a recording / demo of the piece. Upload an original track/sound file to somewhere like Soundcloud, YouTube or Vimeo (max 10 mins duration) and provide us with a link below:

If available please provide a video of a performance of the piece. This link needs to be from a website we can stream the media from e.g. Vimeo, YouTube or your own website. Please ensure you provide a password if you are sending private files in the box below.


Monitoring Information

Music for Youth and Sound and Music are committed to ensuring that all applicants are treated equally and without discrimination. This form is intended to help us to maintain equal opportunities best practice and to identify the barriers to equality and diversity. 

The results of this form will be used anonymously and kept confidential and separately from your application form; it will never be used at any point during the selection process. 

We may use this data to evaluate the diversity across Music for Youth and Sound and Music's programmes in an anonymous, statistical form, so although questions are optional and we respect your right not to provide all or some of the requested information, the more information you supply, the more effective our monitoring will be. 

By completing and submitting this form to us, you are hereby consenting to our processing of any sensitive personal data for the purposes as outlined above in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Music for Youth and Sound and Music are registered under the Data Protection Act. This means that we can ask you for certain personal details but must be able to explain why we have done so.  In the case of New Music Stage, we have only asked you for details about yourself that will assist us in processing your application and keeping in contact with you.  The Data Protection Act also means that you can ask us in writing to let you know what details we hold about you and we must let you have this information within a reasonable time.  We are allowed to charge you an administration fee for doing this.
