Welcome to our 19th Annual "Youth Education Conference" (YEC) event registration page. YEC is LIFE Courses' flagship event. The theme of this year's Conference is "Inspiring Young Entrepreneurs". YEC is a FREE, one day workshop for middle school students and their parents/guardians covering for the students: Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Team Building and Entrepreneur Training. For the Adults: Parent Advocacy, Financial Management and College Preparation. Breakfast and Lunch are provided to all attendees. Completion of this Registration Form is Required for all attendees (students, parents and volunteers). 8:30am - 9:00am: Registration and Breakfast
9:00am - 4:00pm: Program and Lunch
By completing the registration process, you are acknowledging the following:
  • The registered student will be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the event
  • All registered attendees authorize the use of their likeness in photos and/or videos used for marketing future LIFE programs and activities

YEC Volunteer Opportunities

SOCIAL MEDIAL LIAISON (2) - Post real-time activities taking place day of conference
REGISTRATION (4): Non-technical support for registration, which includes stuffing bags, distributing name tags and escorting students and parents to opening
SPEAKER LIAISON (2): Support on-site logistical needs for speaker such as distribution of any materials and/or note taking
CLASSROOM ASSISTANT (10): Work with students in groups of 12 to help understand content from morning session. Teaching/youth facilitation experience is a plus, but not required.
FLOATER (4): Escort students to the restrooms during afternoon session. Ensure classroom is left in good condition and trash is discarded at the conclusion of the program
