Please note that we are not registering new equestrians at this time and Sprout has a very long (multi-year) waiting list. Completing this form allows us to put you on the waiting list and learn more about your rider. If/when spaces become available, it is our policy to contact those on the waiting list on a first come, first served basis.

The following are program areas of Sprout. Please let us know which you are interested in learning more about:

Adaptive Riding - Riding skill instruction for individuals with diagnosed disABILITIES utilizing adaptive equipment and teaching techniques, support from volunteers and horses trained for therapeutic purposes. Runs 4 sessions per year (winter, spring, summer, fall), lessons are $55/each week for a 30 minute private or 1 hour group.Adaptive Carriage Driving - Riding skill instruction for individuals with diagnosed disABILITIES utilizing adaptive equipment and teaching techniques, support from volunteers and horses trained for therapeutic purposes. Runs 3 sessions per year (spring, summer, fall), lessons are $85/each week for a 45 minute private lesson.Equine Supported Therapy - The utilization of the horses movement during Occupational and Physical Therapy to help address individualized goals, and improve overall function, health, and wellness of the client. Runs 4 sessions per year (winter, spring, summer, fall), visits are $120/each week for a 45 minutes of therapy.Sprout Inclusive 4-H Club - Monthly meetings for equestrians ages 5-18. Club members will participate in interactive learning experiences on topics related to horse care, health, stable management, riding disciplines, and more. $400 annually.

Tour Availability

Prior to beginning at Sprout, all riders must come to the barn for a tour and evaluation. During the time (approximately 30 minutes), your student will meet our horses, and we will assess their abilities and needs as they apply to our services.

This includes:
Cognitively - following directives, safety, basic skills, concept of time, spacial awareness, problem solving, short term memory
Physically - symmetry, tone, flexibility, motor planning, gait, balance, coordination, unilateral and bilateral Emotionally - rapport with the horse, comfort in the barn, transition time
Sensory - needs, likes, dislikes
