The Maryland Fine Arts Education Conference (MFAEC),
formerly the Cultural Arts for Education Conference (CAFÉ) is an annual
convening of 200 arts education stakeholders in the state, including classroom
teachers, teaching artists, administrators, arts organizations, and higher
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of AEMS,
the MFAEC will be dedicating to uplifting Maryland’s leadership in creating
model arts education and arts integration programs. Our goal is to showcase the
groundbreaking work of Maryland arts education stakeholders at every level, while
creating the space for continued learning and collaboration.
Are you an arts
teacher or arts integration specialist and want to showcase curriculum,
professional development, or assessment models?
Are you involved in
community arts education, and want to share your experience as a teaching artist
or arts organization?
Are you an administrator who has knowledge to share on scheduling, funding, or
assessing quality programs?
Are you an arts advocate who wants to inspire others with a call to action?
AEMS invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the
conference to share your expertise and experience.
