Offset your Carbon Footprint!

Trees offset the Carbon you generate through photosynthesis. A tree in a Forest Garden sequesters a rate of 34.6 pounds of Carbon per tree. With about 4,000 trees in a Forest Garden, each Forest Garden sequesters 62.8 metric tons of Carbon. 

This calculator estimates the amount of trees you need to plant in order to offset your Carbon emissions from your plane, long distance train, commuter train, and car travel and your home energy emissions. This audit is an estimate of your Carbon emissions and may not be exact. Learn more about our research at trees.org/post/carbon.
