Nominee Background

Nominees should:

Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence
Consistently strive to enhance the compliance profession through active involvement and participation with NSCP
Exhibit a positive attitude and commendable, can-do approach
Be a current member of NSCP, except in the case of a former regulator (e.g., SEC OCIE Director Lori Richards and inaugural recipient 2013)
Demonstrate a long-standing commitment to the compliance industry (recommended 20+ years)

Eligibility guidelines:

Regulators are not eligible to receive the award, as recognition from organizations such as NSCP may be perceived as favoritism or create a conflict of interest
Current NSCP Board members are ineligible
Former Board members are eligible after a minimum three-year period off the Board
