Join Sprout for horse-filled fun this summer!
12:00-4:00 each day
$350 per camper (10% off siblings)
Who can participate?
Open to kids aged 4-18 of ALL abilities (individuals with special needs, siblings, friends and the community at large). Students must independently use restroom facilities and feed themselves (if this is not possible, a caregiver must be present).
Daily activities include:
Riding, grooming, horsemanship, horse games, horse crafts, physical challenge courses, outdoor fun and social-skill building!
A Day at Camp (Example):
12:00-12:30 - Opening circle and stretch
12:30-1:00 - Rotation 1 - Grooming: Learn 5 main brushes and order used when grooming a horse
1:00-1:30 - Rotation 2 - Horsemanship: Learn 5 main horse colors
1:30-2:00 - Rotation 3 - Riding: Ride through 5 obstacles including vertical poles, ground rails barrels, cones and cross rails
2:00-2:30 - Rotation 4 - Horse Craft: Decorate your own soft brush!
2:30-3:00 - Rotation 5 - Farm Fit: Quick! How fast can you and a partner move 5 grooming tools from one end of the barn while holding them in wacky ways (ie. elbow to elbow, knee to knee)
3:00-3:30 - Rotation 6 - Farm Fun: Create your own stick horse and ride through the 5 obstacles you learned in the arena.
3:30-4:00 - Closing circle and game
