Estate Planning Basics for Low-Income Clients

The training covers drafting simple wills, advance medical directives, financial powers of attorney, as well as ethical considerations when consulting with clients. Participants must be lawyers and agree to prepare two estate plans pro bono within one year of registering. Volunteer lawyers will receive malpractice insurance and access to a mentor for their pro bono cases.
