VOICES BOSTON Registration: Boston Lyric Opera Audition Workshop, Nov. 2018

STUDENT INFORMATON

We are excited to announce that VOICES Boston and Boston Lyric Opera will be hosting Auditioning Basics: Preparing for College!  This workshop is perfect for musical theatre and classical singers who are preparing for college auditions, school and community productions, and choral auditions.


This two-day workshop will be held on Nov. 11th and 12th, and each day will be from 10:00am-4:00pm.  Day One of the workshop, Sunday, Nov. 11th, will be held at Lincoln School (19 Kennard Rd., Brookline). Day Two of the workshop, Monday, Nov. 12th, will be held at First Parish (382 Walnut Street, Brookline)Note: These two locations are only a 5-minute walk apart.


All singers will work with acclaimed Boston Lyric Opera faculty, participate in master classes, receive private repertoire and resume coaching, practice audition techniques and strategies, and develop movement technique, physicality, and characterization. Singers will collaborate with their peers as they discover how to audition at their best in a fun and supportive environment that will prepare them for high school auditions, college auditions, and beyond!
