SOMArts Curatorial Residency (2019–20): Letter of Intent (LOI)

2019–20 cycle at SOMArts Cultural Center

SOMArts' Curatorial Residency provides curators with a project stipend, production support and professional development needed to execute a large-scale exhibition in SOMArts’ 31,000 square foot gallery. Three residencies are awarded each year and are designed to offer emerging and mid-career artists and curators tools to further their curatorial practice and use exhibitions as a space to explore timely social issues.

The strongest proposals are those who serve SOMArts’ mission of leveraging the power of art as a tool for social change.

The online application must be completed in one sitting. We strongly advise saving your answers in a separate document as a reference, and pasting them into the form when you are ready to submit.
