- Off to College Booklets are a great resource for students and families getting ready for college with
T1D. Students and families can request digital copies of the second edition of these booklets. Check out previews of the Student and Caregiver Booklets! Clinicians, schools, and organizations can request hard-copy booklets.
- You've Got This: A Guide for Young Adults Diagnosed with Type One Diabetes! is dedicated to young adults who were recently diagnosed with type one diabetes. It has everything you need to know about how to manage type one along with everything else going on in your life. Check out a preview here.
- Off to Work Guide is CDN's newest resource all about bringing your diabetes to the workplace! From your rights, to how to tell your new employer about T1D, and more, this guide is what you need to know about #adulting with T1D. Check out a preview here.
- Off to College Event
Host Kits are for organizations or clinics interested in hosting an “Off to
College” event for high school students with T1D and their families. An “Off to
College Event” is an event to help prepare students and their families for the
transition to college, through discussion of topics relevant to college life
with diabetes. These kits provide all the information needed for a successful
event, including logistics, timelines, handouts, connections to student
speakers, and support from CDN staff.
- Political Advocacy Guide gives an overview of the major policy issues affecting people with diabetes, and outlines concrete steps that young adults can follow to take action.
- CDN brochures outline
all the great programs and resources CDN has to offer. These are good for clinicians,
schools, and organizations that want their constituents to learn more
