This training covers how to register copyrights for different types of artists, including visual artists and musicians, fringe rights and issues associated with registering copyrights, and issue spotting while assisting artists with copyright registration. Attorneys taking the training must be licensed to practice in Maryland and agree to accept 1 pro bono case from Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MDVLA) within 1 year of registering.
