The New CFPB Regulations on Mortgage Foreclosures and Loan Servicing

View the training via WEBCAST (taped October 27, 2014) on your device at a place and time convenient to you. You will be emailed access instructions within 1 business day.

Learn about the new CFPB regulations on Mortgage Foreclosures and Loan Servicing. This is an advanced training that is intended for PBRC's Home Preservation Project volunteers who have taken the Foreclosure Prevention Basic Training. It provides and overview of CFPB regulations, explains the intersection of CFPB regulations and Maryland foreclosure law, covers litigation and affirmative claims, and gives an opportunity to the CFPB personal feedback (optional). Participating attorneys must complete the Foreclosure Prevention Basic Training and agree to fulfill two (2) units of volunteering within one year of registering.  One “unit of volunteering” is EITHER providing brief legal advice at one (1) foreclosure solutions workshop OR taking one (1) case placement from the Project.
