This pro bono training for Maryland attorneys will provide an overview of Maryland Legal Aid’s Joining Forces Project and prepare you to volunteer on its telephone hotline, which provides free, brief civil legal advice to veterans. Participating attorneys must agree to either accept one pro bono case from the Joining Forces Project, provide 12 hours of pro bono service on the Joining Forces hotline, or both within 1 year of registering.
