This training is recommended for attorneys who are eligible to practice in Maryland, have completed the basic foreclosure training, and who are interested in assisting homeowners facing foreclosure and Chapter 13 bankruptcy.  Volunteer attorneys are welcome to view part 1 of this 2-part training (Part 2 video is unavailable). Participating attorneys must agree to either accept one pro bono chapter 13 bankruptcy case and/or provide brief legal advice in a clinic setting within 1 year of registering.

Chapter 13 Basics covers filing the case, plan confirmation & 314 meeting, property of the estate,  exemptions, plan modifications, claims and objection to claims.
