Thank you for your interest in attending a BTTI! The purpose of this scholarship is to increase access to OCD and related disorders treatment for underserved communities in the United States. We will be granting 5-7 scholarships per BTTI to independently licensed therapists who meet at least 1 of the following criteria:
- Therapists of color.
- Therapists who practice therapy in languages other than English.
- Therapists who work with a significant portion of patients of color, patients with public insurance (Medicare, Medicaid), and/or patients of a low socioeconomic status.
The scholarship reduces the fee of attending the BTTI from $550 to $50. In addition to the reduced rate for attending the BTTI, therapists will also receive a free year of membership with the IOCDF. Scholarship preference will be granted to therapists who live in the local area where a BTTI is taking place. For more information about the BTTI, please click here
PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 types of BTTI for which this scholarship is being offered.
- General BTTI (taking place in Seattle, Eden Prairie, Chicago, and Portsmouth), which trains clinicians to treat the lifespan with a general focus on adult populations.
- Pediatric BTTI (taking place in Baltimore), which focuses solely on treating pediatric populations.
