Outdoors for All seeks to remove economic barriers that may prevent participants from exercising their abilities outdoors. Financial aid awards are available for all activities and are made on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the application guidelines listed below.
Participants with developmental disabilities who qualify to use respite funds should not fill out this
application unless requesting financial aid for a fee that respite funds do not cover (e.g. chair lift tickets); please read Respite Fund FAQs for more details.
Register first: You must first register for the activity that you are interested in prior to requesting financial aid. If you do not receive sufficient financial aid to afford a particular activity and therefore need to withdraw from the program, any fees paid out of pocket will be refunded to you.
First-come, first-served: You must request financial aid at least two weeks prior to the first day of the program, or as soon as registration has been completed, whichever is a shorter period of time.
Cancellation: If you cancel your registration in an activity for which you received financial aid, the financial aid will be returned to Outdoors for All. Participants cannot keep unused financial aid on their account.
Thank You note: If you receive financial aid, we request that you send a Thank You note to Outdoors for All. Thank You notes that include photos are highly encouraged. These notes help us show the impact of the program to our donors.
We follow these guidelines to be sure that we have sufficient financial aid for individuals to be active in various programs that we offer. We also do so to be sure that we have enough financial aid available to distribute to other applicants.
