Financial Aid Guidelines and Application

GUIDELINES (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
Outdoors for All seeks to remove economic barriers that may prevent participants from exercising their abilities outdoors. Financial aid awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the application guidelines listed below.

General
  • Up to 90% financial aid provided by Outdoors for All per activity.
    • Separate applications are required for each activity registration.
  • Up to $2000 per individual in a six-month season:
    Our program seasons are:  (October 1 - March 31) & (April 1 - September 30)

1.   First-come, first-served: Awards are based on program registration date and will be awarded while funds are available.

2. Cancellation:  If you cancel your registration in an activity for which you received financial aid, the financial aid will be returned to Outdoors for All. Participants cannot keep unused financial aid on their account.

3.  Thank You note:  If you receive financial aid, we request that you send a “Thank You” note to Outdoors for All. “Thank You” notes that include photos are highly encouraged. These notes help us show the impact of the program to our donors.

  • Financial aid will be awarded approx. 3 weeks prior to program start date.
We follow these guidelines to be sure that we have sufficient financial aid for individuals to be active in various programs that we offer. We also do so to be sure that we have enough financial aid available to distribute to other applicants.
