logo2019 NextGen Leadership Summit Application
What is the NextGen Leadership Summit?
The NextGen Leadership Summit will gather 12 of CDN's strongest young adult leaders in the diabetes community to share their experiences and prepare for a future in the diabetes sector. These leaders will be invited to discuss the unmet needs for the young adult population, provide feedback to CDN and our partners, and to better enhance the state of diabetes care across the diabetes space.

When and Where will the Summit take place?
The NextGen Leadership Summit will take place in Boston, MA from April 5-7th 2019 at CDN's National office.

How much does it cost?
Because CDN values the feedback and the unique perspective that CDN's young adult population has to offer, CDN will be covering travel costs for accepted participants including housing, meals, and transportation to and from Logan International Airport in Boston. If accepted, we will work with you to coordinate your travel plans. Attendees are expected to participate actively in all sessions, bringing personal experiences, questions, and self reflections to be discussed as a group.

Who can apply?
We encourage all CDN leaders (Chapter Leaders, NextGen conference attendees, and alumni) to apply. We are looking for young adults who are interested in being leaders and pursuing a career in the diabetes community to share their experiences, network, provide feedback to CDN's partners, and gain insight into their career in the diabetes sector. Participants will be chosen based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the leadership qualities of the applicant, their drive to be a leader in the diabetes sector, their openness to discussion around the future of diabetes care, and their ability to represent the voice of the young adult population.

Applications will close on January 28th, with notification of acceptance by February 1st.
