The 2019 Living Wage Champion Awards will showcase and celebrate the employees, employers and civil society leaders leading the way by promoting the Living Wage in their organisations, industries and beyond.
The Awards are judged by an independent panel of judges. Judges will select up to six winners in seven categories.
Who can apply for the awards?
With the exception of the "Campaigns of the Year" Award, the awards are for Living Wage Employers, and Recognised Service Providers that are registered with the Living Wage Foundation. The awards are open to those that have entered and been shortlisted or won awards in the past, as well as those that have not applied before.
Each employer can only apply in one award category; so please think carefully about which category your organisation should apply in. During the judging process, applications may be moved between categories if they are felt to be stronger elsewhere.
How to apply
We welcome applications from those that have gone ‘above and beyond’ in achieving and promoting the Living Wage. Judges will be looking for evidence that entrants have gone above and beyond to promote the Living Wage, which could include: raising awareness of the Living Wage for example by hosting or speaking at events; encouraging other organisations/(sub)contractors to pay the Living Wage; increasing the visibility of the Living Wage brand; implementing other ‘Good Work’ practices and initiatives in the workplace (as well as the Living Wage). Where possible, please include stats that demonstrate impact, for example, "ten organisations signed up to the Living Wage because of an event we held".
Applications should be submitted by Tuesday 12th March (9am).
