Volunteering Requests

At Repair the World, it is our intention to respect varying abilities and to ensure accessibility for all volunteers. Most of our projects involve some degree of physical activity, including lifting objects, moving around, reading instructions, and sharing feedback. Does anyone in your group have any limitations (physical or otherwise) that might impact the types of activities they can engage in? If so, please share them here.

Service Learning

We typically include some type of experiential learning, discussion, and reflection to contextualize volunteering and illuminate the impacts of service and volunteering. We find that this give people a stronger sense for why their volunteering is necessary, making their time more meaningful and productive.
