2019 CSI:MS Teacher Workshop - Delta State University

 We are bringing the popular CSI: Mississippi Science Teacher workshop to the state of Alabama for this one summer only! The workshop will use crime solving as a fun and exciting way to show teachers how to effectively engage students in science learning. The workshop is packed full of labs and every teacher goes home with supplies for his or her classroom!

This workshop is a hands-on, inquiry-based program designed to improve science teacher efficacy, increasing student interest in science class! 



Registration deadline: March 13, 2019

Workshop dates: June 17-28, 2019

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Delta State University, Cleveland, MS

Unisex lab coats will be provided in the size indicated on this application. There will not be additional sizes available so please order a size you know will fit. Consider ordering a size larger if you have concerns.

Required Letter of Support

The letter of support should specifically indicate the support of your principal and superintendent to support the following activities:

  • Implementation of materials received during the summer workshop.
  • School visits by EPSCoR staff to follow-up on the use of materials provided.
  • Opportunities for you to present this project at staff development sessions in your school district.
  • Your participation in a follow-up professional development day later in the Fall semester.
