Small Bites Grant Opportunity Interest Form

Small Bites Nutrition Program:
This program provides funding for our Small Bites lessons that teach Pre-K-8th grade students about nutrition and healthy cooking through a series of eight lessons combining nutrition and knife-free cooking. All grant recipients are required to teach six to eight lessons in full, which will be provided by Common Threads. The lessons support Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Math and English, and give students the opportunity to connect math, language arts, and science concepts to hands-on experiences that will give them tools to live longer, healthier lives. Graduates of this class will be able to make their own healthy snacks at home!

Common Threads strives to provide health and wellness programs to those who need it the most based upon available funding and (if a school) the number of students who qualify for the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch program or are considered Community Eligible. Please provide your most current information.

*If you are Community Eligible, note 100% below
